COACHES SPOTLIGHT - TYLER SUTHERLAND, CJHS BOYS BASKETBALL - October 22, 2021
Coach Sutherland grew up in Eastern Oklahoma and attended Sallisaw High School. He played basketball and baseball throughout high school, graduating in 2009. He received his bachelors degree in Science Education from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2014. From there, Coach Sutherland attended Arkansas State University where he received his Masters Degree in Educational Theory and Practice. His coaching career began in 2014 as an assistant for the high school women’s basketball team at Lincoln High School. From 2016-2018, Coach Sutherland lead the Southwest Junior High 8th Grade Boys team. In the fall of 2018, he became Head 9th Grade Boys Basketball Coach at Central Junior High. Coach Sutherland’s accolades include competing in Regionals during the 2019-2020 campaign, and finishing Runner-Up in the Conference Championship in the 2020-2021 season with a 17-2, 8-1 record. His overall Head Coaching record is 41-23 and 21-8 in Conference games.

COACH SPOTLIGHT - JAZZ CARTER - LAKESIDE JR. HIGH GIRLS BASKETBALL - October 22, 2021
Coach Carter is in her fourth year as the Head Girls Basketball Coach at Lakeside Jr. High. She is originally from Bryant, Arkansas and has one older brother. Coach Carter graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a degree in Health and Human Performance and Sports Management and a Bachelors in Education. She says "Basketball has been in my life since I was 4 years old. My mom is my biggest inspiration. She motivates me in everything I do in life and has supported me as an athlete, coach, and person. I am so grateful for her and would not be the person I am today without her." Coach Carter's favorite thing about coaching basketball is being able to share my love and passion for the game with kids and being a positive role model for them. When she's not coaching basketball, she loves watching sports and Disney movies, going to Razorback games, and spending time with friends and family.

SPRINGDALE SOCCER RECEIVES CHAMPIONSHIP RINGS - October 22, 2021
Springdale Men's Soccer Team received their 2021 State Champions rings in a ceremony at Bulldog Stadium. The team also won the State Championship in 2019.

Coach Beeler is one of the most successful coaches in Springdale Athletics history!
Coach Donald Beeler grew up in Springfield, Missouri where he first discovered his passion for soccer, playing on multiple club teams throughout his childhood. Coach Beeler played four years at Kickapoo High School and was a member of two District Championship teams during his time there. Coach Beeler attended Baylor University where he played for the men’s soccer team for 4 years. He majored in education and received his Bachelor’s degree in 2006.

COACH SPOTLIGHT - KIMBERLY JENKINS - HBHS BASKETBALL - January 24, 2022
Coach Kimberly Jenkins is in her 4th year as the Head Coach of the Lady Wildcats. Last season at Har-Ber, she reached her 500th win as a coach and is currently 541-217 for her career. Before coming to Har-Ber, Coach Jenkins spent 18 years at Valley Springs High School. Her teams won two State Championships in 2010 and 2016 and finished as State Runner-ups in 2004, 2009, 2011, 2015 and 2017, along with numerous Conference and Regional Championships.
Before Valley Springs, Coach Jenkins spent three years as an assistant at the collegiate level. Gaining experience at New Mexico State University, Tulsa University, and then to North Arkansas College.
As a collegiate player, Kimberly Wilson played for the University of Arkansas for four years. She was a 4-time All-SEC player, SEC Academic Team member, and finished her career ranked third all-time in scoring. She was selected as a 2007 All-SEC Great by the conference.
Coach Jenkins' high school years were very successful at Hampton High School (Dover-10th grade) where she played for her father, Coach L.B. Wilson. She finished her high school career with over 3,000 points and was a 4-year All-State player, Gatorade Player of the Year for Arkansas, and the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Player of the Year in 1993.
After her career, she received an invitation to the inaugural WNBA pre-draft camp. Coach Jenkins resides in Springdale with her husband of 24 years, Quincy, who is the president of DSI. Her son, Lawson, is in his sophomore year at Missouri Southern on a basketball scholarship. Her youngest son, Connor, is a junior at Har-Ber High and is a broadcaster for the Wildcat Sports Network.
